“Eve Chevara is a 27-year-old craftswoman and jewellery designer who trained at the Beaux-Arts in Strasbourg. She now lives and works in Paris.

Her jewellery-talismans, made of brass or silver that is more or less polished to reflect the light, are fine, light pieces. The almost impalpable earrings dance in the slightest breeze, while the combs slipped into the hair blend into the living material like luminous seaweed.

There's something aquatic in the curves of all her creations, a crystalline sparkle like that of the water-polished stones that Eve-child used to pick up in the river of her summers.

Her jewellery tells the stories of this land of Arcadia, where men and women reconciled with nature live in a simple, almost frugal way.”
